By combining collage, found objects and craft items with drawing and painting I create new narratives.  Filled with metaphor, symbolism and connotation, the dark humor of my work points to weak spots and faults in human behavior and American culture.  The result is colorful, painterly and playful compositions containing big Buicks, stately but dazed bucks, cowboys and indians and apple pie.
